Did you know, Courgettes are technically a fruit?

Courgettes and zucchini are the same. In England they are called courgettes, in the USA and Italy they are called zucchini.

  1. GrannyD GrannyD says:

From the plant-science point of view a courgette is certainly a fruit.

From a mealtime point of view, though, it is classed a vegetable as it is not sweet, and we eat it with the main course, and not usually as a dessert!
