This weekend I set aside some time from the pre-Christmas rush to do some much needed maintenance on my polytunnel. I’ve had my tunnel for about 3 years now and to be honest, haven’t really had the need to do much to it by way of maintenance in that time. But I thought it would be a good idea to have everything clean, tidy and ship shape for next year. Whilst I was checking the cover I noticed that I’ve bent one of the poles that make the central hoop for the cover. Can anyone advise me where I might get hold of a replacement?

When I replaced a damaged tube on my tunnel I contacted First Tunnels, they were really helpful. They even have an area on their website where you can work out just what size and fitting you need. The sales people are knowledgable and friendly. Recommend you give them a try http://www.firsttunnels.co.uk
Thanks for the advice Phil. I contacted First Tunnels and I now have my new tube arriving in the next couple of days. Good people to deal with, good informative site and good telesales.
I just wanted to tell everyone about a brilliant service. I have just received the polytunnel that I ordered on Friday 18th from First Tunnels, which is a Christmas present for my daughter.
The service was second to none – a phone call on Saturday morning to acknowledge the order and then 2 phone calls on Monday to update me on the dispatch. It has just arrived against all the odds due to the snowy weather, and the courier driver was very pleasant and efficient.
I run a small business myself and I try to give exceptional customer service so it is very much appreciated when we get such a good service from our suppliers – I wish everyone had the same outlook. Many thanks again and happy Christmas!
