Storing Onions inside a polytunnel

Tie a knot in a pair of old washed tights just above each whole onion and repeat this process until both legs are full. When you need an onion, simply cut the tights just below the end knot.

Night-mare weeds!! Can anyone help?

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of mare’s tail that now comes up in my garden every year – even through the membrane under my gravel? I have read that white spirits may do the job but haven’t tried it yet..Do you have any solutions please?
